"The Endless Wave: A Skateboarder's Perspective on Death, Dying and Spirituality" by Michael Brooke & Nathan Ho

Death, grief and loss are natural parts of life that are often difficult for people to talk about. This is a free e-book written from the perspective of Skateboarders to help open up safe discussions, decrease stigma around these topics and present it in a way that Skaters of all generations can relate to.

"Skateboarding, Mental Health and Spiritual Maintenance"

Do you wait for your wheels to fall off before changing them? Or do you wait for your board to be flat with no kicks, chipped down to the last splint of wood?

You have a physical body as well as an emotional and spiritual body that requires regular maintenance for optimum functioning in daily life.

"The Half-Pipe of Grief"

Grief and loss can be a difficult topic to discuss and unpack with someone. As the person going through it, you may feel alone and as the person looking on, you may feel like you don't know what to say or do to support your friends.

Through likening the grieving process to skating a half-pipe, my intention is to shed light on the emotional processing that takes place in grief to support you in whatever position you find yourself in.

"What Is Your Skateboarding Legacy?"

Through living a life where you give everything you've got, you have the potential to make a lasting impact that continues to live on in the spirit of others.

What do you consider legacy? Is it something that you leave behind, a product of your daily routines? Or is it something that you have consciously created?
