Cold Exposure
Throughout history, people from all over the world have worked with exposure to the cold for healing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. In modern times, there are people who regularly swim in cold water and it is common for some Athletes to sit in an ice bath after training or a game.

Through learning practices in Breath Control and body awareness, you can learn to develop a sense of focus that allows you to regulate your Body's temperature and Nervous System to withstand the cold and feel great afterwards.

By applying gentle, controlled stress to the body, we can teach it to develop greater resilience and enhance the body’s response and overall management to stress factors in the environment.

Nathan is passionate about cold-water immersion. He takes daily cold showers, weekly ice baths and regularly guides people through ice baths in small, medium and large group settings.
Nathan first became intrigued by the ice bathing experience when recovering from Knee Surgery. He was applying ice to his Knee to treat inflammation and considered treating the rest of his body to the ice to clear tension in Back, Shoulders and Spine.
It is common to feel anxious before going into an Ice Bath, which is why it is important to prepare. Prior to this experience, you would be participating in 30 minutes of Breathwork beforehand to help calm the Nervous System and prepare the Mind to focus.
While in the Ice Bath, Nathan guides you with your breathing until you find your point of focus and can experience comfort in the ice.
After the ice bath, you’ll be shown how to warm your Body up using your Breath.
You may also feel really amazing from the release of many feel-good Brain chemicals.
This is what makes ice bathing a really great bonding experience when done in a group of like-minded friends and people and can
set you up for an awesome week ahead!
